Our warmest congratulations to Valentino Neduhal on the successful defence of his PhD on 19 June!
His thesis, entitled “Vertical Momentum Fluxes Associated with Rossby, Mixed Rossby-Gravity, Inertia-Gravity, and Kelvin Waves on the sphere”, provides a novel quantification of the contribution of vertical momentum fluxes to the quasi-biennial oscillation. Some of the results from his thesis can be found on the ADP Group publication page. We wish Valentino all the best for his future endeavours
