Atmospheric Turbulence and Boundary Layers

We study atmospheric turbulence and its role in weather and climate in a bottom-up approach that combines theory, modeling, measurements and high-resolution simulations. We focus on turbulence in clouds, boundary layers, and shallow convection, aiming at improved process understanding and improved models.
