Katharina Holube received her doctoral hat

Warm congratulations to Katharina M. Holube on the successful defense of her PhD thesis, entitled “Effects of dynamical processes on atmospheric Kelvin wave variability,” on 27 November. Katharina has been the first Fast-Track PhD student in atmospheric sciences at UHH. Her papers with some of the thesis results can be found on the ADP group publication page. We wish her every success in her upcoming postdoctoral position at the University of Chicago.
