FESST@HH campaign successfully finalized

While the meteorological autumns is starting, our three-month measurement campaign FESST@HH comes to an end. Using a dense net of hundred stations, for the first time we observed the life cycle of cold pools underneath thunderstorm in space and time. In parallel, the network recorded also many other interesting atmospheric phenomena: the urban heat island, sea-wind fronts, orthographic flows and gravity waves. We are looking forward to many exciting studies and are thankful to all enthusiastic volunteers - without your support we could never achieve this success!
