The Meteorological Institute runs two measuring stations in Hamburg. One of them is suited on top of the Geomatikum (the domicile of the Institute), the other one has been mounted at the NDR-pylon in Hamburg-Billwerder. The recording of data from the top of the Geomatikum had to be ceased in 2007 due to technical problems. The existing data will in future be displayed on the pages of the NDR-pylon.

The data from the NDR-pylon is published in http://wettermast-hamburg.zmaw.de (German).

On the homepage of the Theoretical division you will find 6-hour and 12-hour forecasts for PoP (probability of precipitation) and temperature. The forecasts are being updated several times every day.
