This is the result of a comparison between two experiments. In the first all land masses have been simulated as being covered by forest, in the second experiment all continents have been covered by desert. The image shows the temperature differences between those two experiments for winter. The model setup includes the atmosphere module PUMA-II, the Mixed-Layer-Ocean module, and the Sea-Ice module. |  |
